Arrow how many cycles till ...

your stored batteries are at optimum performance?

if they've been dead shorted, is this number different? does time play a factor?

i'm really just looking for a ball park number. i'm guessing 3 - 5 maybe.

am i close?

thanks in advance.

I think the period of storing plays a role too....

Usually I got one week between race / practice sessions. After a session, I equalize my pack on an active discharger with 0,6 volt cut off. After one week, there's no problem.

But after 2 weeks, they are slower. Three weeks or more are real bad.

The first run (cycle) after storage, are quite bad. The second are okay and the 3 run are normal / optimal.

Soon, I will be storaging my packs for 3 weeks. I plan on to refrigerate them. I'm a little excited to see the result.

That's just my 2 cent.

I'll try to remember to post about the results. If you haven't seen anything from me in about three weeks, then feel free and remind me.

Hmm...how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll lollipop? 1, 2, THREE!

3 cycles for most packs, 4 for some.

...and Cole...be VERY careful about refrigerating your packs.....let them sit at room temp for 12-24 hours before charging....otherwise, they can explode......no kidding!

I didnt know they might explode. But I plan on having them at room temp for about 24 hours anyway... to avoid shock because of a too big temperature change on a short time.
