I will on wednesday when I go to the track. I have both a DC Ti3 10x1 UL arm, and a DC Cobalt 10x1 UL arm. I'll throw on some soft rubbers ... tires and be able to tell you that they're both super fast. But seriously, I want to compare them also, I havent even run my ti3 yet .

Dragonfire,

As Curtis said, the Ti3 is better in about every way.

Curtis,
Surely this comparison doesn't include the UL Cobalt’s?

I have run all of the motors mentioned.......... Cobalt and Ti3...... UL and Standard. I have found the Ti3 teardown the best so far. UL versus Standard Arm would depend on the track layout and amount of runtime.

What are the pros and cons of using thinner wire on a low turn mod? I know this done to increase spool up time but how does it affect torque and RPM?

Thank you!

Using thinner wire on mod arms allows for quicker acceleration out of corners, giving the motor a more responsive feel. Thin wire also reduces mid-range and top-end power and should only be used on tight tracks..... The opposite holds true for large wire....
