I was just wonder what everyones secrets were for there cleaning methods right now im using air in a can and simple green and tearing it completely once in a while

first i spray denatured alcohol over the area that is dirty, then scrub it with an old toothbrush to break up all the dirt. then i use an air compressor to blow it all off and dry it. ur air can may work as well. i have found that this method works really well

General cleaning with compressed air and the heavier stuff with a tooth brush, x-acto and simple green.

I use good ole WD mostly to clean it. dirt cakes on it afterwords, but its a 5 second process to clean it off with the air compressor. the WD makes dirt stick to it, but its really easy to blow off.

yeah i also use denatured alcohol and air compressor.which works great..then after i do that i wipe everything down with paper towels..i try to clean it after every time im done running.makes it easier.

Depending on the severity of dirtyness..
Water, denatured alchohol, or simple green (diluted or full strength, depending on severity)..
For my XXX-T, its electric and I just wipe it off usually. I use soapy water (dish soap) and a scrub brush to clean the slicks though....and, I like to make my wheels nice and shiny (I always use white nylon), so I clean those regularly too. There's a certain technique to use to keep from filling the tires up with water, isnt very hard....part of it is just using enough water to submerge part of the tire, with none of the wheel...

I use a little tub with a scrbber in the bottom for my tires. I also tear my cars down after each race. I clean the electrics with a little water and a towel. The nitros I use simple green then spray them down with WD-40 and during the race I hit them with air.

I forgot to mention that for the tires, I use some water in the bottom of a 5 quart ice cream bucket. Works great! Keeps it from splashing on everything.

i take out the radio tray and motor then spray the whole thing with simple green.then i spray it off with hot water then put it in the oven and 175 for like 15-20 minutes

this is an offroad car, dirty is not an issue.. so is it a must to clean it. i only oiling the rotating/moving part and blew with aircompresser
