Pick your favorite name brand and go. I ran a tekin rx8 gen 2 and 4300HD with a spektrum 6040 (high tq) servo. I also ran smc 6500s but next go around I'll opt for the 7200s

I like the 4 poles over the low turn motor set ups... But I don't mind a heavy truck

HobbyWing SCT Pro with with a 4000 or 4700 kv.

My combo works but I'd love to try out the Orion 550 2 pole 4.5 motor and see how it compares.

I dont dremel anything in my steering at all and had no issues turning under anyone this last weekend.
I think I might be a little spoiled with turning radius from a bce 1.0 I had really dialed for this track, slow speed indoor track with many 180 deg and hair pin turns that tight turning is crucial. I could take it on a out door track and have no issue at all on open screaming fast turns. I didnt think many people wanted setups you have to overdrive,I set everything up real tight,I almost never turn the radio wheel stop to stop unless in a hairpin,I want ultimate responce on steering and throttle, almost never hit full throttle either except on straight for 2 secs.

brax..if your way off on left steering and havnt grinded anything, take your front brace off and get good look at the right side steering ball, its hitting the diff case and stopping your full turn, grind it out a tad

If my kit ever gets delivered I'll join the club .. so far I've got the mamba max pro sct 2400kv spektrum high tourqe servo and since I love my badlands on my baja 5b I had to get a set for my sct
Also do the rpm a arms for the 1.0 version fit our 2.0 kits?

You do not need RPM arms, stock one are really beefy and hard to break. Since 1 year and half I have not broken a single part on this truck, I only changed part because they became sloppy.

The only thing I have broke was the left front spindle carrier, and that was because someone else does not pay attention to the announcer when he says over the PA to "WATCH THE END OF THE STRAIGHT" I was setting against the wall and some other guy came full blast down the straight well over 100 feet and used my truck to stop before he turned the corner. He blasted me head on right on the left front wheel and I was surprised nothing else was broken. And I am still learning to race this thing and put it to a stress test all the time.

in the updated parts for the 2.0 was the 15 degree caster blocks part of the upgrade but in plastic rather than the alum aftermarket ones? I would like to try them but if they are becoming a TLR part I'll just wait.
