Sauce? I'm assuming dipping the tires in some type of petroleum distillate to soften the compound? Is this temporary or permanent? Very interesting.

Did you just break the plastic end? Make sure you thread the set screw all the way into the plastic piece before you put it into the alum rod. The plastic piece will last longer this way.

Extra rod ends but you need to use the balls from the old rod ends.

Truck was better with 2mm spacer. Running 2 hole pistons 32.5 and 30. Max kick up everything else the same as current dunford setup. The car is awesome off power steering but as soon as i roll back onto the throttle the car wants to spin out. What changes can i make. Should i go lower rear shock oil? Should i go to higher rear diff as the tekno guys refer to this as diff whip

Hre are some suggestion. I would try them 1 at a time, in no particular order.
  • Thinner rear swaybar
  • More rear toe
  • Lighter rear spring
  • Thicker rear diff oil

Where are you when it spins out. Mid corner, straight, entering the corner, everywhere?

I am running the box setup with AE 1.6 pistons 35/32.5 oil. blue fronts and purple fronts in the rear. 26mm ride height and the truck feels great. plenty of steering and squared up on throttle nicely. I maybe actually soften the rear spring to remove a little of the steering, but I am working on other things atm, like my driving. This is very different than 2wd buggy which I have most run since 86'. I will say though, that 4x4 sc is a blast to drive. I have not really played with the bump steer mods you guys are doing. my truck feels very good outdoors on an 8th scale track.

Where it wants to spin is on exit i have to counter steer hardcore to keep it straight and also it occasionally breaks loose on entry of a turn

Guys I need some help. We are in the process of building an indoor 1/10 track in our town. We were working on the track the other day and I brought my 2.0 down to play around on what we have completed. After just a few short laps my motor and esc were super hot and the truck shut off. I've got a tekin rx8 and a pro4 4600 combo. Running a 14t pinion on stock spur gear. Track is small and tight 64ftx40ft. Am I geared to high or do I have an electronics issue? Also, some of the wires pulled out of sensor wire. After I unhooked the sensor wire it seemed better but still ended up getting hot quick. Battery was a Max amps 5450 mah 2s lipo. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
