Bag "B" twice!!!
I have built and rebuilt my 1.0 diffs numerous times.
It seemed like both kits here had one diff screw that had a hex that was a smidgen too big.
prethreaded holes
used quality drivers.
stripped one on each frt diff.
we shall see how the center and rear go. Fortunately im also retiring one 1.0 and stole spares from it.
no biggie just a bit of QC needed from the screw maunfacturer.
Helping a newb build his... he was fascinated by the workings of all the little spiders in the diffs. He is really enjoying the build and im sure is happy he has me there as we are building them side by side.

Didn't you hear ? 1/16 head screws are fine if you just use MIP wrenches ! LOL!

Bashem:
We did use quality wrenches.
we prethreaded.
we lubed.
Im not new at this.
one of each of the screws had a hair bigger than 1/16 hexes like they were defective.
Again its no biggie.
I used tony's screws in my 1.0 so i stole them for now,.

DORC is hosting rcpro ontario round #1 may 24-26. The schedule has been bouncing around so just wanted to clear it up.

Same here, and one of the screws didnt even have a hex, just an odd shaped hole.

Also had to reshape the inside of the front bulkhead, as the ring gear rubbed.

My droop screws don't line up whatsoever to the chassis protector screws....they slide off to the side and the only thing they do is bind up the suspension. Why couldn't they supply the same flat headed pads the 8ights use?
