King-G: Good luck with the new Pivot balls. I cant wait until the warm weather rolls in, so we can start racing outside here.

C10X spares

Does any one here own a corally C10x pan car. If so could you give me a list of spare parts I should buy. I want to get the car to run mod, but I have to order through the mail. I just want to buy any spares at the same time as I buy the car so I don't have to wait a week or so when ever I break something.

I havent heard the full report yet, but I know my Team mate, driving a c4.1 took out the summer nations on the weekend here in Aus...he defended his title in fine fashion, taking Tq, and all 3 mains...!

he competed against a lineup of top australian drivers for the win..

How did you go B.K?..

Good to hear that the Corallys are doing well down under. Still too cold for me to even practice with mine. I got a few warm days there last week, but didn't get a chance to run. I'm definitely ready though.

all that he has used from the fsr is the battery cradle from the fsr chassis, he has made a mounting tray, which sits on top of his chassis to allow him to run his batterys next to each other rather than staggered..

he has then placed his speedie and receiver forward, opposite the servo

Oh that's no biggie then- hardly an FSR.... Does this configuration change up the weight balance much? what were they trying to acomplish?

Thats a good question. What would they gain by not running the packs staggered?

I ended up 11th overall in Touring car and 2nd in 12th scale (Corally G3).

For the touring car i made an insane tire choice and paid the price...

It was a very good meeting, lots of fun. I also won the concourse award for touring cars...

great to hear you had a good time...sheez you were stiff to miss out on the A...

is that the picture of you on the canberra R/C site with the white hat accepting a trophy?.who painted your bodyshell?..

## the side /side config on andys car is an attempt to get perfect balance front and rear...he believes that having the batteries staggered creates more weight on the front left than front right.../and more on the rear right than left..

I dont feel this is a problem at all, as I have always had a perfectly tweaked car, and I run the receiver ontop of my servo which also helps balance the front end..

I also run around 10 grams next to the speedie, this helps the car to be neutral on the tweak station with all shocks even..

Andy is a real stippler for such things, as is evident when you see his car..

it has worked for him on the weekend, taking the win and tq!
