There is no such animal as an X12 pullstart, I would suggest it is a C12. Funny that in your sig you list a car with a C12 then say its an X12 in your post. I see by your post count you are new here, a word of advise it is unwise to post misleading information.

The X12 is a good engine, the only real change with the V12 is the crank has a larger diameter for more strength & also the crank bearings are different to accomodate the larger crank. piston, liner, rod & carb are the same. Although the latest V12 (Rody) has a composite carb. Not sure if the non rody version has the updated carb or not.

soc123_au what pipe are you running on the NTC3? I have an NTC3 with a V12 turbo and it seems slow! It has no top end! Bottom end aint great either! Im running standard gearing.

rb engines are great and very reliable. you can never go wrong getting an rb engine. if your race allows an open motor, go get an rb v12 5 ports turbo tuned by rody. this engine is a screamer. my v-one rrr wce runs crazy with this engine.... i have also tried the x12 5 ports turbo tuned by rody. it's also a very realiable engine with lots of power in it. although after i tried the v12, the x12 is far from it. go get the v12 if you can spare the money...

ralliart-If you want to stay legal though I suggest you get the 3 port Rody. Try to find one with a std plug, because I think they changed the rules again; turbo plugs are illegal again. BTW, many places have the RB for high prices so you're kinda outta luck. They are $359 and up. www.ace-hobbies.com has them. www.brooklynhobbies.com, www.brucknerhobbies.com and hmm..I'll try to find more places.

I just checked roars website and found nothing indicating turbo plugs being illegal. Why do you think that?

No I just heard from some of the LHS guys and elsewhere they are changing it back. I never said it officially was, but that
"I just heard". So I'm looking around to find out info if this is true. Somethings they announce before even putting up on the site.

Well if you find something concrete, please inform. I really doubt that to be true as there is no reason for it, but you never know. I could only see that happening if IFMAR changed the rule 1st.

I know, which is why I asked a question on several other forums "IS THIS TRUE?". I never declared it happened.

Try www.ultimatehobbies.com Their website sucks big time, but they are a large well established shop in So Cal. For best Service give them a call. The numer is on the web site. I got my v12 for $199.

The Regular V12 right? No way they'd sell Rody's for $200.

Default X.12

I HAVE A X.12 I WANT TO PUT IN A NTC3 BUT THE CRANK IS BIGGER THAN ALL MY OTHER MOTORS. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO TO PUT A TWO SPEED CLUTCH AND FLYWHEEL ON THIS ENGINE. THE SHAFT IS AS BIG AS A .21, AND IT HAS A PILOT SHAFT FOR THE CLUTCH TO RIDE ON. WILL THIS WORK IN A NTC3. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL.

THANKS
ED REGALIA
