If you go to an implement dealer, you cam find used disks in there scrap pile. Just ask. They will usually let you have them if you explain what you want them for. Don't get the domed ones. they have flat ones. they will have a bearing in the middle that you will have to remove...just grind off the rivits.
These flat disks are enough to upset the car without causing it to flip over.

These are what we use and work very well. Painted them red and white.

I like the look of CRC click track, but it looks expensive.

Why is everyone so afraid of corner dots? My home town track is about 95% against using them

Pro corner dot:
Cars take less damage then running into barriers
Easy for track setup and change
Cost
Improves driver skill

Against corner dot:
Sometimes getting dots to stick sucks
unfriendly to lesser skilled drivers

Another option is to get the smaller corrugated pipe and use that for corners/end pieces.

What about Losi dots. They are smaller but you can use more than one. They are inexpensive and are not supposed to upset the car as much as other dots.

My club uses road rails and I have yet to roll my car on the dots included yet.

Look at the pics thru out this thread

Cut rail material to make the edges into a "Y", then bent a swimming noodle around it to create a radius. The noodles are forgiving, bright, and around $1 each. They last quite a few races before needing replaced

You could find some hose that slips over the pipe. Just bend it to the radius that you want and stick it on another pipe.
At our indoor track we use flappers made from 1/4" LDPE sheet. The the plastic company cuts up a 4'x8' sheet into 3" wide by 8' long strips for about $120 including the material.

Make your own "dots of doom".

Start with 1/8 "hardboard", cut out a 20" circle. Drill a 3/4" hole in the center. Use a jigsaw to cut out a wedge(pizza slice) of about 2". Pull the cut together, attach to itself and your done. A few bucks a piece, and last a few years. Thats what we use for asphalt and carpet.

When you see cars flying at head height after hitting a domed corner dot, you tend to want something that won't launch a car into the air. You really have to keep them for slow corners, and for the track layout in the picture the marked ends are definitely high speed corners. Getting it slightly wrong straight lining them would definitely launch a car.
Roadrail is panned by most for the same reason, there's nothing to prevent cars crossing lanes and the shape helps to jump cars over the barriers.

Flappers are the best solution because it won't stop the car like a solid marker would, but they do push the car off line losing a lot of time without needing to be marshalled because your car isn't stuck or upside down.
