Default New T-Fource

I just picked up a new T-Fource Team Red #1312. When I opened the box the chassis is different than shown on the box, on the website or in the instructions. The 4 large triangular shaped cutouts for lightening ahead of the slots for the cells are not there. The box says new thicker chassis but does this mean the cutouts are deleted?

I heard that they did that to stiffen the chassis, but I don't know for sure.

Hi,

Yes thats right, I just finished putting mine together it's a fantastic kit, loads of Ti, I like the carbon t-plate too. No holes in the chassis makes it way easier to hold down your electronics.

Dak,

my T-fource went together great, no problems at all. I did sight across the standoffs, they looked good to me, I'll check them again though. I'll keep a standard t-plate to and make a comparison for handling. anyone have any good setups for med bite asphalt?
