I have a copy of the instructions, just put the spool in mine. I don't have a scanner but I may be able to take a digital picture and e-mail it to you. Or I could make a copy and send it to you in the mail. It's pretty simple though. Just take out the diff balls and put the spool pads (one on each side) with the rough side facing the gear and tighten it down till it does not slip anymore.

Yes, you still run the thrust balls. Just make sure that the plastic nut that goes inside the outdrive is in good shape because you will need to tighten it down pretty tight. I ended up running two spool pads on each side so it would not slip. Works pretty well, sure has a lot of on power steering and you can really drive in hard and use a lot of brake if needed. You almost need to drive that way because it will not roll through the coner as well. I had to soften up the back of the car a little because the front was getting such good traction the rear wanted to come around while cornering. I'll work on the picture.

The new diff rings for the JRX-S will be smooth on one side (for normal diff action) and have dimples on the other for use as a spool. The dimples will be positioned at the locations of the 12 diff balls to hold them in place.
This will be the NEW way to create a spool setup on the JRX-S and the XXX-S. No sandpaper disks anymore.
