Well the set up i'm using is pretty much the stock set up mention on the website.

I beleive it's
10 degree front blocks
1 degree of camber
-1 of toe
not sure the thickness of the t-bar.
or the front springs.
i'm using a black spring on the mono shock
and can't remember the oil wieht in the shock
i'm using 75 or 80 weight oil in the tube
front pink and grey rears
monster stock (every one in the club runs the same motor as it the club 12 scale motor)
100 spur with a 27 pinon
our track is alway different from week to week.
out carpet is old so it a low bite track.
Also running the battery rear
and running angle servo.
I found out last weekend that my tbar was not tight enough in which was giving me my steering problems. doh!

Looking for a bit more steering and more rear traction and ideas

I got to figure out gearing for this car how to use it to my advantage.

Hmmm, the tbar thickness and front springs are very important to the cars performance. Make sure you have 0.075" tbar and 0.020" front springs. The weight is your tubes sounds way to light. Try Trinity purple or red stuff. If you have a set of purple front tires, throw those on and see how they run. I believe black is a very very hard center spring. You may be compensating for the tbar thickness and or front springs being off the mark. You should be in the silver, blue or red range with 50wt oil. How large is your track? With a monster I usually roll out at 1.6 inches with GP3700 cells and 1.55 inches for the IB3800s.

The black spring is actually softer than the green/olive spring.

I'm thinking of the wolf black spring which is very heavy for a tbar car. If I remember correctly, it's in the area of 20lbs...

Wolfe black spring is 17lbs. I'm not sure about sunday, there were some complications and meg ended up back in the hospital early this morning and is hopefully being released tomorrow. If she's doing better by the weekend I can make it, but if she's not much better than she is now no way.

I just ordered a bunch for the team. I want to see how they come out before ordering a large amount for the general public.

is there any way to check the rate of the springs. also I was going to pick up some new front and rear springs. All they have are crc stuff(95% of the club race carpet knives) would these springs work too.
