Kind of a stupid question, but will grinding a motor shaft to extend the flat spot be an allowable modification? It's pretty much required on most motors in a T4.

Not a stupid question at all, I'd also like to hear ROAR's response to this myself. Might be time to replace a few "worn" PRS pinions...

The CRC's are really nice, but even those require some grinding on a Trinity rotor.

We rearranged some stuff and added a table.

There are 6 more pit spots available.

If you want to come to the Nats enter quickly.

We currently have 112 individuals entered in the race and 199 total entries. I think that number will go up though.

That's awesome...Glad to see you were able to squeeze in a few more people

Can't wait for this epic event

ROAR website says otherwise, so they went quick. I bet someone's phone was ringing off the hook?

Just got off the phone with Fred (Roar Administrator).

There are 4 spots left. First come, first served.

You can't use the roar website anymore to get in.

You need to call him, and follow his instructions.Just because you called him doesn't mean your in. You need to follow thru completely ASAP .

It looks like this will be the last ROAR race where we can use our MRT transponders. Glad we made the cut.

Default Handout tires

I don't see it on the first page, but can someone tell me if handout tires must be paid for with cash?

"Yes, it will be allowed. I've run into this with various cars in the past, and it's annoying when you can never get the pinion fully aligned with the spur no matter which way you install the pinion. Good luck to all the drivers... I hope you have a great event."

This is from Steve pond in relation to grinding the flat spot on spec motors on the rotor shaft to get the pinion to fit correctly on the Xray cars and any others that require it.

Just hope this info trickles down to RMT, at the asphalt nats RMT thought 17.5 was NOT a blinky class. I told him, well if that's the case, next round you're going to see cars go A LOT faster.
