Wgt is growing locally at Horsham. We have some of the faster wgt racers in the US locally... But the problem is folks don't run them (myself included). I expect at least 25 entries in wgt.

I actually doubt I could make this event anyhow since I have to miss work on friday and it is around 9-10 hour drive. It will be a last minute decision if I can or not.
Technically, if you have a multimeter, and measure the resistance across each phase, the motor with the lower resistance readings should be the best.

Mark,
All Roar Rules will be enforced. As far as I know that is 4.20 per cell. No warming of batts. all that fun stuff.

We are hoping entries will open this week. We just got all that straighted out this weekend and I think have submitted everything necessary to get entries open.

I'm in for WGT too. I may add some FYI...it looks like RCsignup.net is the way ROAR does entries and there is a whole fun process to signing up to use the site with confirmations and all that sort of thing... I went ahead and took care of that early to save the hassle.
Looking forward to the event!

Even GOOGLE hates ROAR, very hard to find their site :

http://www.roarracing.com/

You have to sign up and pay for membership then you can sign up for the race once entries are live.

for all who haven't signed up for a ROAR nationals before the fastest way is to do so online. The link is Event Registration" off of www.roarracing.com. As a good test of your ability to sign up, you might want to access the "Member Login" section of their web site. I just did in order to make sure I knew my password .
