Default Motor Timing

Hi guys,

just purchased a new motor (Dynamite Platinum 13.5t)

cany anyone tell me a good timing to start from? smallish indoor track 30m length straight.

On the can it has 8 increments with a negative sign at the botom and a positive sign at the top. although it doesent state where 0 degrees is. the middle line is slightly longer than all the others. Can anyone help with this?

Also another stupid question, with the ESC fan do you have it sucking heat away or blowing cold air on to the heatsink?

Thanks

i would try 2 marks of timing
if esc fan as a brand label on it that is the top and right way for the fan to draught the air of esc

You want the fan blowing air onto the esc. Same if you were using a fan on the motor. Always blow cool air over whatever you are trying to cool.
