The max won't fit in the tub unless you cut it or mount it at an angle to keep the low cog. It will fit on the 3racing chassis. Tried and tested here.

Here is a pic of my 05 with a GTB/13.5 setup. It's pretty tight, but no dremeling was needed. Take your time and it will work!

-KilleR-: Here you go. Thats a perfect look at how to mount up a complete Novak BL system on a TA05.

Hope this helps....

Wow!!! Thanks a lot guys not forgetting Core Creations for the great pic of his car .. This definitely give an idea how to setup GTB on my TA05 once I get hold of it.

I had an extra P-Dub JRXS bumper when I first built my 05 so I retrofit it to fit....works extremely well!

And that was in my original 05...I now own a 05R and a bone stock 05. I am currently running the stock 05 with the exact same wiring setup etc. Car works awesome even bare bones!!!

As soon as pre-orders openup for the MS...I'll be in line!

Default Super TA05R ???

TA05R, Penguin chassis and a few hop-ups...

I'm gonna play with this at my club races for a few months and then switch back to the carbon tub for the nats. Does the setup change much when you go from the base TA05 kit suspension to the LW suspension?

Can the LW suspension arms, hubs, and uprights be purchased seperately from the entire LW suspension upgrade kit? If so, what are the part numbers?

I ran my TA05R this weekend and it understeered like crazy. (it was really stable in a straight line though! )

I run on asphalt indoors, room temp, does anyone have any setups they would be willing to share for asphalt?

I had my front tires toed in about 1degree, and changed that to neutral. My rears are toed in about 2 degrees. I've got 4 degrees of caster on the fronts, 1/1.5 camber front/back.

Any help would be appreciated! I will hopefully have more time to work on it this weekend.

On another note, Just bought another TA05R for my son- he's very happy!

Tom
