It will be just about 50 grms lighter,
but verry stiff and responsive to setup changes.

All the 3 racing part fiit perfectly
Yeah racing stuff is verry variable in quality ( nice way to say a sad thing )

The 3racing stearing link is to weak.

My son and I drive the 3racing version without stabilizers and the standard with stabilizer.( front only )

Happily I am still winning with the standard version.

that is very VERY similar to mine, except I got the 3Racing centre one-way (which interefered with the 3Racing topdeck... tsk), Tamiya steering upgrade, CVD's all round.

Will have to post a pic once I have cleaned it.... again.

Thanks for info on how much lighter the chassis is, I was wondering what it would be

I have only just got mine, so no alloy bulkheads or toe blocks on mine yet

The only small issue I had was with the 3racing screw heads stripping that mount the shock towers into the bulkhead, so I used the kit screws, guess it was just the new thread it was making that stripped it

Does anyone have a good starting point for a dusty parking lot?

Hey guys. Quick question for anyone using the front one-way in the TA-05: do you need to do anything special to "break it in"? When I pulled mine out of the package, the one way bearing seemed a little gritty. I tried putting some bearing/bushing oil on them and that helped a little, but did not get rid of all the grittyness. Do I need to be worried about it? Do I need to use a different kind of bearing lube? Did I just get a bad one? Thanks for the help!

How about a spool in this car? I liked running a spool in the T2. I am think of running one in the TA.
The spool and the direct drive center works awesome in this car. I've switched back, forth & back again between one-way, spool and oneway & I just switched my car back to the spool. It just 'fits' my driving style TONS better. I've won club races with both but it's the spool for me
The only advice I can give you is..... try it. That's the only way to truly know right?!?

Thanks Jaybee. I have a spool on the way. I really liked the spool in the T2.

I am about half way with my stock TA. 2 months before the season.
