I was told before that Tamiya Rubbers are a rebadge of Ride. Not sure what B3's is equivalent though.

It was 80deg. last night until 11pm. keep in mind we are about 10 min from the bay. It's pushing a 90+ deg. right now with not a breeze in sight.
Hey Juan, there's nothing wrong with a little info and preperation. You're telling me you've never asked anyone about tire selction at ripon (with the crazy temperature change). I've only used cs or sorex tires for the last 3-4 years, cut a brown brother some slack --Al

Juan, few of us have the comfort level that you do. I don't question your preperation or ability. You and I have spoken a few times and you seem like a genuinely good guy. I race about once every two months and any info I can get is valuable. Every time I've asked questions on the ta05 thread I've received responses that have been very helpful. As a side note, I only have B3's so my only option is to throw the car on the track and try to drive my a$$ off. See you at TCS on Sunday and good luck (hopefully you're not running gt3 )--Al

Hey Al - don't worry about Juan. He's never serious and more importantly, he has no clue. Last year, after I pulled Juanita's car after the track in qualifying, I noticed that the belt was showing through his tires....somehow he set TQ. Friggin Idiot. Anyone who takes his advice on setup....shouldn't.
Back in the day when I ran TCS, the tamiya tires were a lot like any other tire. They felt exactly the same as a CS-27 but with half the traction. Stick with B3's in this heat and don't overdrive the car. Heck, if the track temp reaches 200, this might be the first time ever that B2's might work - but I dooubt it.
