The other thing that bothers me a bit is the tolerances of the wheel axles on the TA05.... what have you done to reduce them? shimming? How?
thanks and cheers,

I can get the one you have for something about 110€ (I still need the sticker, the droop and the ride height gauges), and the "all-in-one" comes for something like 300€.... although it has the "tweak station". What do you think?

You can purchase an integy set-up board and sticker, It would prolly coast alot less; have'nt seen them yet but integy makes some quality stuff.

well i used a 6mm thick glass with beveled edges. that works like a charm cos the glass will never bend.

I got the tb02, the middle part of the stabilizer is too narrow to fit the bulkhead stabilizer holder of the ta05.

I bought the "RC TA05 Stabilizer Set (F&R) Item #53842" from my LHS, there was a good discount, which has lowered the price to $16.00, plus I don't need to wait for the delivery from speedtechrc.com (in California, if I would ordered it there).
Nevertheless, speedtechrc.com looks good for future orders.

I didn't participated in the race, I use 27t, but I tried it on the test runs against guys with 19t, I don't know exactly what Chassis they ran, probably with a lot of hop-ups and mine wasn't much slower then theirs.
I need to work on not making any mistakes (misjudgments on terns)

Hi Guys,
just want to post a quick note that we just received a good shipment of Tamiya spare and hop-up parts including parts for the TA05 and also more TCS Legal bodies for those of you involved with TCS racing.
Lastly, we will be updating the XR05 project and progress on to a PR05 edition using the upcoming Penguin R/C chassis kit. The XR chassis provides a bit more flex while the Penguin from looking at initial design looks to be more on the stiff side (especially good for you carpet guys) one thing is for sure is that if the initial design stays, the PR chassis's got to be the lowest CG chassis with the upper deck only about 21mm above the lower deck
Stay tuned!
