it's the same as the aramid belt, just that it's blue. function wise, should be low friction.

I run the Square EvoIV blue steering knuckles or uprights.. or whatever you want to call them.. They are more durable for me. Especially when I occasionally race carpet/foam. I save the plastic knuckles for TCS races...

Blue motor mount is from Xenon. The dull silver motor mount just looked out of place on a car with all these blue hopups. So I opted for the Xenon unit. I know SpeedtechRC carriers Xenon and Square.

As for the belt, I have not tried the original belt with this 18t pulley. And only 2 teeth does make a difference in size too. The new white belts.. I have them about 2 clicks loose and they are not slack. So I would think the original belt size would not have enough adjustment to fit..... If you want a blue belt... get a blue marker!! haha..

Yep, those packs are very good, but is getting very difficult to get new ones at the moment.

Where did you get those blue screws and turnbuckles. My swaybars are also not colored. They're plain steel

Tamiya has blue aluminum screws, and blue aluminum turnbuckles.

Well, thanks for the info.

I think I have to have 2 TA05s then.... hahaha. One will use tamiya only option and the other will use any 3rd party aftermarket option.

I'll re-think of getting the square's front upright ... but rear one is okay... since I plan to use those alums susp. mounts.

About the belt, you're right.... how about spray it with metallic blue (j/k)

Got all the blue bits with the car when I got them. I think they come from an EVO4MS from the previous owner. I also saw them at Speedtechrc being sold as pairs with low friction ball cups.

It is my first TA-05. What you guys think of puting futaba 3003 servo? I plan to race in TCS GT-2 races.

Try using some hop ups.... for tires and shocks.
As for servo, save some money for a better one. I recommend the low profile one such FUT-9550 or new KO 'cause the space is kinda limited for this chassis (if you're after low CG).

If your planning on TCS, you might want to take a look at something mid-way in the servo department. Like the JR Racing Z590M. Its faster than the standard servos like the 3003, plus it has more torque and metal gears.

Don't worry about low profile servos, theres more than enough room on the chassis for electronics. I have a full sized KO servo on mine with a Novak Xxtra reciever, all mounted low profile on the chassis. Every thing fits easily.
