Finally got the receiver to fit beside the servo... I hope it doesn't glitch. Haven't tested yet but it definitely looks better now! What gearing are you guys using for 23T motors? Thanks!

as for the receiver, it will fit right there but there seems to be some concern with the rubber antenna fitting.... I'm currently using a Futaba receiver. My issue with mounting on top of the servo is center of gravity,, with everything mounted low on the TA05, i was hoping to mount the receiver low as well... thanks! GREAT THREAD!

The only reason I can see for having it ontop the servo is if someone is already having glitching problems.

You won't be upset with that move GBall. I was in the same situation. I was driving my 415 and liking it. I came across an offer for a TA05 and took it. I made some small setup changes and now my 415 on hold. I get faster and more consistant lap times with my TA05. I think the TA05 is just easier (more forgiving) to drive (for my level).

I totally agree. BUT... i cant get past the fact that for me, it weighs alot more. we had a GTB setup in my 415 and a stock setup with small electronics in the 05, and the 415 was noticebly lighter, so for me thats the reason for running my 415. I agree the 05 is alot easier to tune tho. it responds awesome, just cant get it fast enough in stock against the T2's etc.

This is my EXACT problem as well... my 415 would be lightning fast at one track and poo at another it would take me a lot of work to get it dialed in. I'm hoping the 05 will allow me to get back to motor work and stop chasing my tail for a setup. I can't promote EA's stuff if my own motors arn't up to par. I rebuild and tune anywhere from 6-12 motors a week for people and that work has been severly suffering while I chase a setup for my 415.
