I used one a few months back that a younger racer had. It was a really tight fit, but I'm not sure if he had it modified for his smaller hands.

Well, if the M8 handle is somewhat small, try wrapping the handle with grip tape for a tennis racket, makes the grip larger, and gives a little better grip of the handle.

The m8 or the mx3 would be my choice I have had my M8 for a while and think its a great radio and also airtronics has suppurb service. Now dont laugh when I say this LOL but I sat on my radio at a race and broke the grip where it connects to the main part of the radio. I used my old soldering iron and fused it togethor and it got me by for that race. But I called Airtronics for a qoute on repairs and they charged me exactly what they qouted me. When it was all said and done it cost me less then 50 bucks and took only 1 week to get the radio fixed.

There must be a reason that more then half of the pro's use the M8...............

Anybody tried the EX-10 Helios? Right now, that's my first choice, then the 3PK, then M8, then R-1

If you can wait about a month or so the new JR radio should be out.

I run a KO Mars, it's the limited version made in 2000 (with 22 model memeory , but I only have 3 cars...go figure..). I have no intention of changing radios because I love the way it feels, it's light and I'm so used to it. I've added a touring car tire to it with the special adapter and is awsome. This radio is out of date but it works for me. The Helios is super nice, M8/M11 looks ok, the 3PK is good, the R1 is way to heavy, Nomadio looks weird but awsome features.

Unless I can get a good deal on the Helios or 3PK, I'm going to just wait for the Normadio to be on the market. 500 isn't that bad for what you get of it.

If your willing to spend 500 on that radio, whay not buy the helios? Or the m8? They are both proven. And their cheaper.

I am a helios fan myself. I like it because its slim, and not fat. Its got awesome features, and an awesomely small receiver. I also got mine because it was cheaper then the rest of the radios, but that was back in november.

Also, what other radio has progamable ringtone alert sounds?

i found it really easy to program what i needed, but i only really club race. But alot of people think it is hard to navigate, but it really isnt. But i found it really easy to use and user friendly.

The helios looks good, and when i held it it felt really fitting. My only draw back is that it looks really complicated with all the buttons scattered averywhere. That's why i'm thinking about the m8 it feels just as fit, and it's suppose to be easier to navigate. But I'll take your word and look into the Helios again.
