It stands between MT-4S and EX-2, have dry tested MT-4 and it feels well balanced with solid button and knobs. Think neither about the grip = nothing special and my local dealer says it's the same as MT-4S.

The problem is that he dont have EX-2 in stock and I can't pre-test it... About every search I make the first thing that pop up is how nice the grip is on the EX-2.

I have euro size 10 hands, is the EX-2 amazing and better in some other way than the grip or is it the other way around?
Airtronics hands down.

Actually the esc was brand new. Today i figured out the problem was the "also brand new" sanwa receiver from MT-4 ..
After it failed again, i tried out my old spektrum dx3r with the receiver and the car worked fine after a lot of abuse...
I am gonna cry now because the sanwa receiver is worth 60-70 euros

Anyone with a 16 still have or run a 14 XB4 back to back for comparison as I have been very close to buying a 16, but can't bring myself to do it with how well my 14 is working. The saddle configuration seems to work well on the low/med bite dirt I run on and I'd hate to go backwards to run a new car.

I also invested heavily in spare parts for the 14 (1st Xray) buying more than I needed, but I'd rather hold out hope that I might use some of it rather than give 'em away in a fire sale.

Curious to see if anyone went back to saddle configuration with either the 14 or 15 XB4's after owning a 16?

I own a XB4 '15 for 8 months now and its still running strong. Using a Central Diff and works perfectly on the low grip tracks here in Malaysia.

My only gripe with the XB4 is needing to spend USD23 on part#368030 to get 4 sets of plastic shims for the bottom shocks which frequently wear out. I see other manufacturers are selling the plastic shims together with the shock o-rings which I think make more sense.

Is there any alternative way to get these shims without needing to buy the whole piston tree ?

Just received a set of these. Measured against the stockers with calipers they are an exact fit. I asked Bentka why they don't sell these separate...he's been asking Xray that question for a long time with no answer yet.

Anyone know if a rear skid plate for an XB4 will fit (or even made to fit) an XB2?
