I run a "practice" wing most of the time. Looks like a dogpile. Lexan backing glued on, frankenwing. But it takes a hit and keeps on going. When I need to impress people on the starting line with a sweet new wing I stick one on. Jconcepts #0134 6.5 hi-clearance

No the only thing I've broke in this buggy is a rear hub but now I have the exotek. The rear outdrives were showing wear to the point I can't get the bearings off. Depending on how you like to keep your stuff this is time for a new set of outdrives for me. I definately don't want any binding in my rear suspension travel. But other them that I love this buggy so glad I bought it over the Losi. . No comparison in my opinion.

Mine broke due to stress from what I can tell
It snapped
Steel may be to hard or just a fluke
Either way with the amount of time thats on mine I don't worry about broken parts here and there.
Where are you guys getting parts from
thats the only thing so far with this buggy is the price of the parts

Anyone has this problem? I've notice that the springs, particularly rear springs, are binding or rubbing on the shock body? This happens on kit spring or Losi spring I have. All components are installed/built correctly to my best knowledge anyway

Simply, the are thicker lexan, so they are stronger vs. the stock wing.

Car is ridiculously good. Out of a full heat of 4wd at ocrc I managed to win by .115 seconds over a 100% sponsored AE/JConcepts driver. And i beat him straight up setting a new track record. Only person to do a 19 second lap on the layout. Needless to say he stopped saying his b44 was better than the xray after that

Will adding the chassis stiffeners screws increase traction on a smooth track.

Question for the guys running the DMX 2wd body on the 4wd. Did you shorten the front body mount to lower the front? It looks like it sits kind of high. About 10-15mm too high.

In case anyone else want to run this body I lowered the rear post 3.5mm and the front post 5mm. Looks great now.

Thanks y'all for your inputs. After measuring everything, it turns out I have a bent shock stand-off. This is what is causing my difference in droop values. Now we all now what to check!

It's not the smoothness of the track that matters regarding the stiffening screws. It's the grip level.

Add screws on high grip (smooth or not). Remove screws on low grip (smooth or not).

What you would have to do, however, is change damper settings and possibly ride height and roll centre settings depending on smoothness, jump height etc etc etc.

Good to meet you out there and watch you crush it Kellen, and thanks for the assistance on getting me going. I'm just getting back into the sport after a long hiatus, and it's great to have a car that is so good to start with.
