Hey, guys. Can anyone recommend what size Avid pistons to get? I want something for fairly tight indoor and something that will work ok on semi rough outdoor. I'm picking up an XB4 shortly and want to build the shocks right the first time. I thought I read something about running 2 different sizes in the front and back. Also, will the shock fluid that comes with the kit be fine with the Avids are is everyone changing that out? I have a Mugen MBX6 ECO but this is my first 1/10 buggy. I've decided to wait on the new Tekin RSX and then go with a Gen2 Redline 6.5. Good choices? Thanks for any help you can give!

XB-4 Avid Setup:

Use 1.5+1.1 piston in XB4 Front. Start with 35 wt Associated oil (425 cSt). For XRAY oils, use 450 cSt.
Use 1.6+1.1 piston in XB4 Rear. Start with 30 wt Associated oil (350 cSt). For XRAY oils, use 350 cSt.

Dialed...!!!

Here ya go:
https://www.amainhobbies.com/advance...972030&x=0&y=0

There are a few parts at a-main that are not in the xb4 section. When I can't find what I'm looking for, I get the part # from the manual and type it into a-main's search engine in the upper left part of each page. Some of the stuff like shock seals and diff gears are listed for x-ray's road cars.

Arigato, Thanks a lot buddy. Here is another question for ya. Is there a shock oil conversion chart from cst to losi weight?

Default Round #3 of the 1:10OR Swedish Cup 2013

Here's video from her A-final 1 in 4WD buggy @ round #3 of the Swedish Cup in Söderhamn.

She qualified #6 for this A-final after a breakdown in 1 of the qualifiers (was 4th).

But not too bad considering this was her first time back on astroturf since round #1 back in May

She made a mistake on lap 3 which put her last but managed to advance to a 6th position in the end.

She did get rear ended going into the last turn just before the finish line but she managed to maintain her position

In this A-Final 1 she did 13 laps in 5m 21.908sec with a best lap of 23.115 which gave her a 6th place for this first of three A-finals.

Had a bit of camera problems on this run

Video from A-final 2.

With just 30 seconds left of the final and sitting in 4th position her ESC started cutting out at 4:38.
She then had trouble clearing the table top and going onto the back straight with the ESC cutting she dropped from 4th to a 6th

A dissapointing result but nevertheless very happy with the awesome driving

In this A-Final 2 she did 13 laps in 5m 18.858sec with a best lap of 23.195 which gave her a 6th place for this second of three A-finals.

Much better filming in this one.

She's a really good driver...!!!

She's not scared at all and pretty aggressive.

Nice to see a Father/Daughter race team

Question is there even a girl factory team driver in existence in the rc world?

If not wouldn't it be awesome if she was the first.

How old is she...?
