If your on carpet, you should still use the setups people are giving you. Rubber tires on carpet with sauce still have about 75% of the grip of foams.

SO:

1. Use the setups, or go a bit softer. But not much. Like 10wt lower on all 4 corners and one set of springs lower.

2. Slap on your rubbers and GO!

I assume you're racing at Raincity? Chris Perry should be able to help you out. He's been racing the TC3 since it came out. I can also help you out, I ran the car for about 2 years. I'll be there on Wednesday if you want me to take a look at your car.

The TC3 is still a fast car. It should be able to hold it's own with the new cars out there...

I was hoping someone would beat me to it but:

Assembly it and race. It's still as good as anything out there. And the stuff above will get you will on your way.

how about a detailed set-up for outdoor asphalt

take-off 27's, stock, running around a 36-100 combo

smooth, high traction

Just switch the oil to 45(f)/35(r) and red springs up front and gold in the back. I set the camber to 1.5 degrees front and back and dropped the r block back in the rear with the r-2-2 sittin in the far back.

I tried this with the rest of my setup on cs-27's today and it was only a few tenths off the foam setup.

Good luck.

why is everyone saying rear tower on front. am i just not understanding it right? that means put a rear shock tower on the front right? if so why? how does it help? and would it be better to use a graphite shick tower like this? >>>> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MakeTrack=true

the rear tower on the front is not essential. i think it lifts the camber links, and tilts the shocks up. both of which keep the car from diggin in the front end. that can be accomplished w/o the rear tower on the front, but usually with a change in dampening.

Go to the Team Associated website. On the left side of the page scroll down to the section that says Tips and Support. From there click on setup sheets. Select on road set ups and pick the one that works best for you.
