Questions?? two different on roads im wanting??

Hey guys,
So I just bought a losi comp crawler and also just dropped 500$$ on a losi 5ive t and I'm wanting another on road again.

What I'm wanting to do with these is just to drive around on the road and take to a few races here and there. I'm also a fan of hop ups so the one with the most available goodies will most likely take the cake. As far as hop ups I'm looking for aluminum chubs and stuff like that along with some carbon fiber, I'm a sucker for carbon fiber, also would like some different shocks kinda like big bores.

Well here are the competitors.

And the other one..

Any help will be much appreciated as I am looking at one of the two. Please keep in mind hop ups for these bad boys. Thanks all...

If your looking for Gt cars. The hottest GT car out at the moment is the Serpent Cobra GT.

All full race breed cars have to be assemble... You have to put it together.
Don't let this discourage you go for it.

Pass you soon...

Oo I'm not. I was just wondering because I couldn't find out the specs of it if it was pre assembled or not. Thanks for clearing that up for me

Default Hm

My friend put his own together with Kyosho/Redcat platform, has about 550 in the whole thing (car, radio, bump, engine, etc) and I'd stack it up against any other GT in the world. Definitely recommend before you go spend a ton of money on rolling chassis that you do more legwork. And if you're ever interested in 4wd 1/8 (non-GT) I sell kits for 315.00.

Questions??

Ok guys,
So I was going to get the kyosho gt2 until I read that the gt2 has major tranny issues and I'm not wanting to spend 500$$+ on an on road and then having to spend money on a new tranny a few weeks later.

Have they fixed the tranny issues?? I was thinking the ofna dm1 but I don't like the revo style front shock setup or the open chassie setup. Any help will be a huge help for me... Thanks all...

That version of the transmission hasn't be used since the GT2 Race Spec was introduced last year. The Race Spec uses a transmission originally designed for the Evolva, and it's incredibly smooth and durable.

Thanks buddy. Well it looks like the gt2 it is. I'm going to probably get the Audi one or the ceptor. Can't deside I do know its one of those two ...

Angry

Question for you guys. I can't seem to find no parts or hop ups for the gt2, is there any hop ups for this car?? Is there any other kyoaho parts compatible with the gt2??

I'm a huge fan of carbon fiber and would like some carbon fiber parts and some aluminum goodies for it. Thanks all who help and hopefully post some links for me. Thanks..
