Gearing question for Team Associated T3

I got a RC10T3, been sittin a little bit, decided to throw a 27T motor in it, I got an 87T spur gear, what should I run for as a pinion? I looked in the manual, and it didn't tell me anything.. Out of my pinions, I have an 18T, 21T, 24T, 25T, & 26T. I know that the 24, 25, & 26T pinions are a bit high... could I use an 18T? Or do I have to go lower??

Default Pinion

I used to run a 18 tooth on my T3 most of the time.It seemed to work good with a stock motor.
