I have a savox 1252 and never had problems with it.

Any chance it's something mechanically wrong? Such as a bent or slightly damaged ECS?

Checked the transmitter and no weird effects. Even drove the wgt, no issues. No on the esc but a guy traded me cash plus a gen 2 tekin (new) for my Rs pro (don't need that for 17.5blinky sedan). So I will try that next. Just sucks as there isn't much time to test besides a race event.

Took my savox apart and noticed slight white powder/charring on some of the board inside-normal? Also the bec I have is a Novak single cap. Would I benefit more going to something bigger like those 4-cap setups?

As for the car, only issue I found is the servo saver. Resistance is definitely not the same one way to the next. I find it hard to believe that this is the sole issue of my woes though.

Did you check your Rx? I've had a couple KO's take a hard hit and the clip on antenna came loose from the board inside. Pulled them apart, reattached the clip and all was well again.

Check that your steering rack is not binding. If there is too much resistance the servo will draw to much amperage causing a voltage drop that will momentarily cause a conection interruption between the receiver and transmitter. Start troubleshooting the problem by sections. Start with this having your motor disconnected and any motor fan disconnected also. Then start adding components until you find which one is causing it.

I can really use that track/test time.
I had the same issue I just ground up the excess material with my dremmel. Don't use the regular top deck as it will bow your chassis. They are not the same lenght.

Anyone have a part number for that optional aluminum servo mount with the dimple on the bottom for the chassis as well as the dimple for the top carbon piece?

It should be the same part no. It is a running change. You might need the CF Bracket as well.

Part no:

XRA306202 (aluminum piece)
XRA306230 (CF Piece)

I don't think the servo piece with two dimples was an option. I think it was a running change. Interesting that both the chassis and servo brace both always seemed to have a hole for it.

The pics still show one nub? For the price I'd consider one of the aftermarket one piece mounts and just eliminate the connection all together.

1) Probably not, but unless there is a proper defect it might be OK.

2) You say resistance feels different each way, replace it now. Even if this isn't the source of your problems it sounds like it's knackered.
