I have also a couple of futabas s9550 and I can't tell the difference.

Tried two different savox last night. My sc-1251mg, and a buddies 1257tg. Car still would glitch, steering locked up for a min then would return to doing what I wanted

Checked the transmitter and no weird effects. Even drove the wgt, no issues. No on the esc but a guy traded me cash plus a gen 2 tekin (new) for my Rs pro (don't need that for 17.5blinky sedan). So I will try that next. Just sucks as there isn't much time to test besides a race event.
Took my savox apart and noticed slight white powder/charring on some of the board inside-normal? Also the bec I have is a Novak single cap. Would I benefit more going to something bigger like those 4-cap setups?
As for the car, only issue I found is the servo saver. Resistance is definitely not the same one way to the next. I find it hard to believe that this is the sole issue of my woes though.

Did you check your Rx? I've had a couple KO's take a hard hit and the clip on antenna came loose from the board inside. Pulled them apart, reattached the clip and all was well again.

Yeah, I have the RSD carpet spring kit which has the linear spring rates you listed. I actually need to put in a call to RSD as the top deck is binding badley with the layshaft pulleys and cant use the antennae mount with it. I am trying to get out there saturday. I can really use that track/test time.

Steering is as free as can be-borderline too loose. Tried two ko receivers-same issue.

Anyone have a part number for that optional aluminum servo mount with the dimple on the bottom for the chassis as well as the dimple for the top carbon piece?
#5278
I don't think the servo piece with two dimples was an option. I think it was a running change. Interesting that both the chassis and servo brace both always seemed to have a hole for it.

The pics still show one nub? For the price I'd consider one of the aftermarket one piece mounts and just eliminate the connection all together.

2) You say resistance feels different each way, replace it now. Even if this isn't the source of your problems it sounds like it's knackered.
