Hey guys I have finally got my T4 running well and brought my lap times down by a second or so ....So i know my changes to the car are doing something for me .

However I am dealing with a slight off power push .

What type of things can I do to improve that for me ? Im not to sure what I can touch or what setting I can make to help with an off power push ....Basically pushing during corner entry .

Any help would be great

Thanks in advance.

Run a small amount Super Glue around the edges of the belt.This will stop the threads fraying and then the belt breaking.Use Yokomo belts

Here's what I'd try (one adjustment at a time) FWIW:

1st - softer front sway bar (1.3)
2nd - lay front shocks down 1 hole
3rd - more rear droop
4th - softer front springs

Essentially you need to transfer weight forward a little more quickly without giving away balance in the rest of the setup. The 1.3 front bar will probably do it...works for me on tight tracks with lots of 180's.

not anymore, as you say it shouldn't happen anyway with the new wing size, but if it does happen no problem.

A lot of body rules were changed at the end of last year to simplify them. These are the current BRCA body rules (for 2013);

In short, you need to be carefull of the rear wing size (190*40*20mm) which includes the endplates, and mount it directly onto the body.

There is no minimum roof height but the wing must be below your roof, the size of the wings means it should never stick above the roof line.
Some of the rear and front valance & bumpers must still be left on the body, like the ETS;
Thanks for responding on my questions, its all understandable for me.
The rules are very much the same as EFRA regulations, in the drawing they do talk about body heigth of 115mm, this is no checked issue?

We lately have a discussion about the 1.6 top plate and what i expect was
right my car has a little better cornerspeed and i was close to the laprecord.

Thanks again

Ed

Roof height is no longer measured.
Because you have to have some of the front bumper still on the car there is a limit to how much lower it can go. Any more and the wheels would rub in the wheel wells when cornering.

Are you planning on doing a BRCA meeting?

Well, I just finished assembling my T4. This build went together quickly and easily.

Although I can only manage simple one colour paint schemes, I'm a fan of this colour - Tamiya Copper.

First race meeting is March 31........

Hey guys, not sure if anyone mentioned it yet, but looks like Nexusracing is shutting down. ... Everything on the site is on sale. My order was super cute last night.

Don't tell me that! I love ordering from Nexus, they are more racer oriented. That would really suck as its much faster for me than A main. (And cheaper)

Nexus was my favorite as well. It says they hope to come back, so hopefully they will eventually...
