Default Serpent 811-TE vs Losi 8ight 2.0

Hi,

Which car would you suggest? Which one is more durable and has more steering? It will be easier for me to find spares and upgrades for the serpent..

Owned both, IMO the Serpent is definitely higher quality and definitely has more steering-so much so that you'll probably want to dial some steering out! I love my serpent's glad I made the switch. Shocks are some of the best I've seen as well. The plastics have fantastic wear qualities, won't get sloppy really quick like the losi.

If money is not a issue serpent is your choice. However, the Losi is hard to beat. You will hardly never have to change your setup and it will work all most everywhere. Both are quaility cars. Just go buy one.......

I have owned both. Serpent is better quality no doubt. But for me it has been to setup sensitive. But the new chicky setup works well. But I have found myself changing setups all the time on it. The losi is basically put drakes setup on it and it works everwhere. If I had to choose I would go losi. Just because the serpent is setup sensitive and losi parts are everywhere and cheaper.

But really it depends on what you can afford and the parts support , and what brand is usually runed at your track.
