re-mesh your gears.. maybe the pinions are too close/tight to the spurs thus the lack of gap between the housing and the bell.

Yea I had that happen too. It put a small groove in the two speed bell but I have not noticed any issues with it.

The spur and pinion gears are becoming thinner ( smaller diameter ). They need replacement.

Another alternative permanent solution is using 1 tooth larger on pinion gears.

Today I finally decided to test drive MTX4 ( I own the car long time ago since it first released ). The car has better feeling than MTX3. I notice the car could turn faster than MTX3 and it feels stable during high speed and sweeper entry. Nice !!!

New belts and gears and they broke again. The top 3 guys all had MTX-4's and we all broke our belts. The other two put new belts on before the 30 min main and still broke. The other two dropped out so I had the lead from the 15 min mark and at the last fuel stop I broke. I am going to try using the stock belts again.

What belt are you guys having problems with? After I switched to the rubber belts, I only have to change the rear belt often. I think I damaged the rear bulkhead or maybe the bulkhead was deformed from the factory.

I've had a couple of races ruined because of the belt stripping.

I had my first belt breakage last time i raced. I must admit our track is littered with small rocks that get in the gears very easily. I am hoping though that this is not a regular occurance.

Cheers Daniel
