this is the car that many ppl were waiting for?
This is a f@@cking copy of the WC car RRR

Mugen seems want to win a WC title......
Well seeing as those are from the mugen website i would guess that it is a mugen MTX4 seeing as that is also the title of the link.
Also go look at all the new BD electric touring cars, they all look so much like each other yet they are all so different. I really don’t think that this is RRR or 710. It also just so happens that that when u get more than one company trying to build the best car possible there are not infinite ways to do so.
Look at f1 cars for examples they are limited by size and weigh requirement and some other limits, but so are 200mm TC's, and they all look very much alike but are very different.

Mike, thanks for the replies. BTW, Congrats for the TQ at ROAR!!! How did you do in the final? Were you using the MTX4 incidentally?

As Joemugen has posted, given that it'll be the same clutch system - will the 4 share similar roll out/gear ratios as the 3?

I've noticed on the RRR thread that there are many parts that take the beating on the RRR and have to be replaced every so often. Hope that Mugen will have a more reliable and durable car espcially with the shock towers and pulleys just like how they had them on the 3. I know its difficult to have a reliable/durable yet fast/light car but Mugen has been great in maintaining that balance in the past.

PS: Waiting for the list of compatible parts from the 3. Thanks Mike.

Looking at the website, under the Technical Information its says:

Gear ratio - 1st 7.49:1/2nd 4.97:1

It is different from the MTX3.. question is does the smaller diffs on the MTX4 affect the gear ratio even the pinions and spurs are of the same as the MTX3?

I think that will be tha case. Otherwise Mugen won't have any Options parts to make money from. Same things with other manufacturer though isn't it?

Hi mike! Just want to ask if the mtx 4 still uses the same two speed shaft of the mtx 3? Since they are still using the old 2 speed system. tnx

Most likely they adjusted layshaft pulley sizes to make the internal ratio equal.

I dont really care about some of the other stuff, ill take the hex hubs off my MTX3 but i really hope it comes with universals. And if it doesnt i hope that the MTX3 ones will work for the front at least. I really hate dogbones and i doubt that they will release the new univerals at the same time as the car.

I think the interchangeable parts between 4 and 3 are :

rear uprights, front steering knuckles, front universals from MTX3, steering ackerman ABC, tie rods, ball connectors, some bearings, lollipop king pins, hexagonal wheel adapters.

I think its less than 30%.
