naw its not dat....im more of a "nitro guy" or like "dude that doesnt know alot about building batts" im not like a 1-10th on-road touring dude..i dont know much about building batt. packs, before i just bought stick packs, im a "off-road" guy...i know alot more about my team losi xxx-bk than my tc3! but i want to get into this so i can learn more. so heheh Shutty uppy! lol j/k

this batt. jig i think is suitable for my 7 cell soldering well a batt jig is a batt jig...i would get the deans one, but it only holds 6.

Silver bars are overrated....its just a plating anyways.

A majority of the pros just use copper bars....

The BEST I have found is the Orion Copper Bones....nothing tops them in my opinion......

I have seen the new Novak bars.....they look and work good, but I have yet to get to try them.....and they are VERY hard to find...

I really like the SMC bars for some reason they solder better than the others Ive tried. Other than that the answer is um... no, it dont matter just buy something from a brand name manufaturer.

deans 3.0 or smc. forget platinum or gold. i do agree SMC seem easier to solder, but i use the deans. stick with copper/silver

who cares... just get the least expensive ones. Most of us can't make a proper solder joint anyway Seriously. It won't make a difference power-wise which bar you use. They're all good. there's more to gain working on driving and car setup.

I have used many different ones, Deans, Trinity, SMC and Orion. The Orion bones are the best. The irregular shape of the ends make them easier to solder and get a good strong connection. Copper Orion Bones get my vote.

Copper Orion Bones are awesome. The novak ones look pretty cool too. I haven't built my own batteries in a while since I run for fusion now..........
