I am going to get all the purple on my car stripped and reanodized gunmetal. the anodizer said I need to remove th pins from the universals first. How do I get them out and back in without damaging thw univeraks bone?

So yesterday I was going to set up my tcxx for vta and went to put my tires on and saw right away that the front knuckle hits the wheel ..so I guess im missing something?

Maybe the wrong offset wheel? Should be 0 degree offset.

Just checked and hpi only makes 0 offset front vta wheels..so in sure thats what I have ..luckily there not glued yet..I do have bigger(6mm) then stock hexes (5mm) I can try ..but not sure about ruuning wider then normal ..

Can you post a picture of where it's hitting?

It's actually not too difficult. Just use a vice with the jaws open enough for the pin to fall through, you can tap the pin with a hammer to start it, then you need a small drift to knock it through after its flush with the bone.
Putting it back is easy, light taps will move the pin through the bone a fraction at a time.

I actually haven't tried the new shorter shocks, or any short shock setup. I'm just running the kit shocks with HB 6 hole pistons.

For easily obtainable oils... Really thick losi shock oils work good on asphalt. As Advil says, I like Losi 80-100 so far. I have losi 90 in my car right now and it works pretty good.

I've also been playing with some pro spec diff oils as well (1500, 2000, mixing a few drops of 1000 in 2000), but I'm realizing I'm way too lazy for that and just use losi oils

Got my Tamiya 6 hole pistons installed this weekend drilled at 1.2 with Losi 80 wt. Seem to be nice on the bench. The pistons fit really well. Have to get it out to Norcal this week for some testing.
