Cool

Note to racers waiting for the track to come in...

Though I won't worry about chasing the track early in the day
I will go out and just run laps

Only having weekends to run, I like to get as much wheel time as possible

If you have a WGT, (aka Zamboni), running that will bring the track in the quickest

I haven't been on in a while and I got a few PM asking if my 5.2 was all sorted out.

It's dialed! I ran last Wednesday and finished 2nd 13.5 Blinky behind a guy running 13.5 boosted (he didn't have his lap top there to change the mode). I am running Keven Hebert's setup. My only change was going to silver side springs to get a bit more steering and running Mag F and Pink R tires. I am going to try Mag R next.

Hey guys, thank you very much for the help!
Today the car was so much better with all those adjustments you have told me.
The tendency for oversteering is still there, but it's really only a tendency.
I was able to improve my best time to 9,46 sec

Default Diff Settings?

Whats a good "Base" setting for this car for a first timer to 1/12 Pan Car Racing?

Cheers Jackson.

I have had my car approx. 3 months now and finally feel its planted after all the various set ups . Finished with black side springs,018 king pin springs and silver shock spring.
Car is glued to track now and turning in some good results.
Going to try these mods to my WGT10 and see if it has the same results

Default New setup posted

Keven Hebert - 2013 Snowbird Nationals

The sheet is a copy of the 2012 IIC sheet due to the fact he ran the same setup at both races.

As i'm intrested in buying one of these kits i have some questions.
Are those rear ride height inserts, roll&front springs from the 12R5.1 version the exact same ones for the 5.2 version?

And does anybody know a good shop/supplier for parts in europe?
I want to avoid those import taxes if i want to order some parts.

been searching all day long to find a shop but it seems hard to find a really good supplier then i thought.

Do the CRC rear ride height inserts fit also the 5.2?
Cause they have so many adjusters that it looks more intresting then the associated ones.

Head over to http://www.actionmodelcentre.com/categories.asp?cat=1, spares for almost all
Pan cars out there. The Crc heights do fit.

I finally pulled the trigger and ordered myself this chassis.
Have high hopes for it, as my tamiya RM-01 drives great and really like driving it but due to the tire issues i had to buy another 1/12th car.
Will be looking for a good setup to start with.
Should i start with the setup of the manual and go from there or am i better off with another setup?
