2 cents: fairly new guy here kind of interested in running the foam class for the first time, but probably not if its open selection tire. I don't see the sense in blinky ESC and open tire. Let spec be spec?

Open tire Foam limited to 3 sets is what it should be.

The cars handle like ass on Lilacs. If we are going to do this we should do it right.

That is the plan as of now, again working with Jaco to breath life back into this class and there may be slight tweaks. most people run pink, dbl pink, or magenta and ussually stick with the same tire always depending on preference so I don't think open tire is that big of a deal. We tried spec tire the last year this class ran in the series and as a whole I don't think it went over very well.

Since one of the reasons for prophylactic racing is the cost, we will be limiting the # of tires sets, same amount as ussually allowed for Rubber at half the cost seems like a win win

Yes that will work, but advance expectations of class size helps alot.

So even though the tire option is open theres still a pretty common standard of only a few compounds that majority of people use? I guess that might not be too complicated..

Please dont force me to run Jaco foams. Because I probably just wont run the class then. Open tire is open tire.

Understandable but as Larry stated I would prefer open Foam with a three set rule. Breed comPetition and get better results. Plus with only one class foam it's not like this is something big to have an open foam. I'd be open to running foam 17.5 and 13.5. I could understand a spec class or handout class. So I guess until I know which tires I'm running I dont know which classes I'm running.

I got into racing just as people were saying "foam TC is dead"..... There seems to be a lot of interest in it now(myself included)!

If I can make it I'll run foam TC.....

Lets not speculate on Spec Foams till it's announced, I'm of similar opion as you guys. Regardless lets all rejoice in the return of Foam T/C and not shoot it down before it starts.

I hope you'll reconsider WGT. Just at The Gate we have almost enough for two full heats. Indoor Champs and Vegas are both running it. I think this year might be a little different.
