I ran them on the old cars just in the back. It was good when grip was low as it allows the car to roll a bit more due to less driveline bind. Could be good on the new car on lower bite conditions.

Has anyone got any feedback running the new car on asphalt. Looks like it's great on carpet so far.

Dear anyone:

Could anybody tell me since 2014 and 2015 BD7 has single side support of main gear shaft in motor mount. So that's mean can be the same in 2013 car, isn' t it?

About main gear shaft, i want to know what difference of 2:
Yokomo Titanium Coated Tubular Main Gear Shaft for BD7 #B7-644T
Yokomo BD7 2014 Titanium Coated Tubular Main Gear Shaft #B7-644T14

So, can put the 2014 shaft on 2013 chassis?

Then can i put the bell crack and steering linkage 2014 on 2013 car?

About Spec R Floating Steering Conversion Kit Black For Yokomo BD7-15/14 (SPR055-FSBD) fits on 2013 car?

Best regards

All three cars have different motor mounts and I do not believe any of them are interchangeable. The new car once again has a further revised mount.

I believe the '13 used a smaller diameter shaft, '14 model and beyond, they use the T14 part. It basically is bigger in diameter.
So, can put the 2014 shaft on 2013 chassis?
No, the 14 and beyond uses bigger screws

Yes, but there really is no difference that I can remember geometry-wise. However, the shape of thebellcranks is slightly different. At least this is what I remember, but I could be wrong.

I am almost 100% sure it should. From what I can remember, there is no difference in the servo mount compatibility along the whole BD7 line.
Best regards

Thanks for your fast reply firstly.
But i need to apologize due my confusion on text.
In first question was to know if i can remove the right side bulkhead (B7-302R) of 2013, since 2014 and 2015 has no longer both side with screw attached on main shaft.

About second question is used to join 1st question since the answer is "YES", in fact i suspected 2014 shaft is longer than 2013 and i want to put 2014 shaft on 2013 car with (B7-302R) removed.

Honestly i didn't buy yet parts to build a BD7 2013 car, i am just still thinking the project, since my 2016 "BIG" race calendar has not announced yet that would run on any asphalt track.

Since i just want put my 2015 car in carpet "BIG" events.

Best regards

Simple answer is no I would not use a 14 shaft on a 13 mount, and remove the right bulkhead... the 14 shaft uses a much larger screw and support mount to support the extra load, also the pulley bearings on the 14 are different as well.

Someone earlier posted photos of their 2013 car with the right side layshaft support removed to mimic the 2014 design with only the 2013 parts. If you dig deep in this thread you can see how they did it.

2015 BD7- I've read about using X-Rings in the shocks but can't find which ones to use. Any ideas? Kyosho, Associated?

Thanks
