Hi Guys, on my BD7 2015 the front stearing end bell seems to have a little play in it, it almost "tweaks" when the servo turns full lock left and right. It sort of rocks rocks, I've tried shims etc to try hold it in place more but it still rocks slightly. I end up with almost a degree of toe in our out based on this play when the car is sitting on my setup station. Is this an issue of over tightening or has someone else experienced the same?
sorted it

I've been a LONG time yokomo fan. My yokomo MR4-BX was the single best car I've ever driven.
I'm thinking of a new TC and the BD7 2015 is near the top of my list (along with the XRay 2015). I've heard talk at the track I should avoid the Yokomo as it's more fragile than the XRay. I'm the type of driver who WILL need a durable car.
Can anyone speak to this?

A lot of other brands break and cause dnf's
Yokomo is not usually in that group
That said, hard to bet against a Ray for durability, the 15' Ray is an outstanding car
The Yokomo just looks way better imo, and performs with the best of them

Easy fixes for durability, swap out the graphite steering arms for the non graphite ones, that's all. The kit graphite ones just don't have much give in them before they strip out. The rest of the graphite parts can stay and don't have any issues. But if you hit things lots then you can install all non graphite arms and rear carriers as well.

Both great cars, you will not be disappointed with either. Yokomo is very strong and the graphite plastics are the best in the business IMO.
Xray stock plastics are softer more flex and less likely to snap in a big crash but most local racers replace the plastics with the optional graphite parts.

Might have been asked before but what springs come standard with the 2015?
