looks to be just one piece now, the extra post bit towards the front of the mount is gone

The front post is machined instead of screwed on.
A head on collision will break the 2014 motor mount if the screw which holds the front post to the motor mount gets loose.

Thank You, I'm looking forward to getting this one. I'm wondering if this will be better for asphalt or carpet.

For some reason, I liked my BD7 for carpet prior to doing the 2014 conversion.

Wonder if it will be available in blue? All tack about black all the time. I like the blue.

I kinda want one, but my '13 is soooooo good on carpet now (with all the hours of set up and parts) so I wonder if it's really an upgrade.

Looks like the spacing between the bulkheads might have been changed also.

That's the only explanation for changing diffs, spools, and roll bar stopper which looks identical to the original.

Diff is new, spool outdrives are of a different material, not sure about roll bar stopper, if you follow my link from the page before you can see all the new parts on yokomo Japan web site

All i can say is i now have horror flashbacks of running my old associated diffs,
The new diff appears to run an inner seal and an outer seal for the outdrive, this was terrible in the associated diffs, they just wouldnt stay consistent

I can see me sticking with my current 3 diffs that i have built with the DB-500GOB seals that work very well.

On the up side it does appear we can use the new seals with the new diffs.
