If you can't afford the car, or don't want to spend 450$ on one then don't, go get a b4 or a traxxas bandit and gtfo out of this thread. It would be nice to read some relevant and mature discussion on the car rather than 6 pages of people whining about its price or making completely unfounded claims about its ability to produce traction.
On a different note, and for the sake of keeping this thread somewhat on track, I think this car looks great, I have pre-ordered two. One will be a race only vehicle and the other for testing and tuning. I think the battery layout is a great feature, it will certainly be nice to have a car that accommodates saddle, stick, and shorty packs without having to always change the position of the speedo and other electronics. Glad to hear the stock springs are X-gear, and that there is a small degree of parts cross-compatibility between the RB5 and 6. The alum steering rack looks like a great design, definitely a nice addition.
I feel that this car is on par with the new generation of buggies, i.e., the dex210 and the 22....however, I am glad those car have been out for a while and I'm hoping the Kyosho engineers learned from the mistakes and shortcoming of those cars and were able to create a superior product. Guess, only time will tell....

I build my K shocks 100% perfectly fine, 100% perfectly accurate corner to corner, with the exact amount of rebound I want, every single time... without a bleeder screw.

guys we are focusing on the price way too much, is it expensive? yes but IMO its worth it for the quality. its more expensive than other buggys but why should all buggys be close to the same price? just because they are a buggy doesnt mean they are the same. Look at a mazda miata and a Z06 corvette, both 2 seater sports cars but you get more from the corvette but you also pay more. bottom line griping about the price isnt gonna get it lowered because for every one person who wont pay it there are probably 3 who will.

I fined it funny when people complain about people complaining on the cost if this buggy yes 450 is a lot for a 1/10 buggy abnd yes thats a mid priced 1/8 buggy. We all can voice what we think on here. That said I still want it and ill hate my self for it the next day when I buy it. It has all the upgrades you want or need for the other brands is it a shock to see that price no because the new zx5 is 529

I can gurantee i can bleed a K shock and be just as accurate/fast as it I can building my AE shock with a bleeder screw. Once you do them enough, it comes second nature. If done right, there is no need to go back and redo a second time or have a huge mess. Your argument above was regarding accuracy, The K shock procedure is accuarate as anything our there, just have to know what you are doing.
