They take for ever to change a model. When they do. some parts are interchangeable with old car. a few.

I seem to remember a few people grinding the front nose brace (UM704) to give additional clearance for the servo horn. I'm using the TLR 22 Alum Horn and I've also tried the Exotek clamping horn, which is very similar in dimension. Both hit the nose cover and don't seem to allow full lock when turning left. Do most of you grind it till it fits? Any trouble doing this? Perhaps it's a more simple fix of moving my servo forward a bit so it doesn't hit the vertical post?

i ultimately used the ball and cup from my durango on the servo horn, as it was much smaller then the kyosho.

i think they fixed the brace to allow clearance. anyhow, try shimming the ball stud on the servo horn too as for me it was the ballcup hitting the brace, if that can help you out. the tlr22 horn should be small enough dimensions, as it is very similar to the kyosho plastic horn.

I've also just done the 3 gear mod essentially following the PetitRC setup. I used Durango gold 6x3x3mm and 6x3x2mm spacers for a total of 8mm and cut down the old spacer to flip it. I found it helps to leave the "bar" that connects the rest of the spacer (after the mickey mouse cut) and use it for the lower part of the motor plate. I'll try to post pics if I have a chance to take it apart...

I just got a used RB6. This is my first 1/10 scale anything, but I have a couple 1/8 scale buggies. The kit came configured mid motor, and I definitely want to try it that way even though it probably isn't optimal for the track that I run at (outdoor, dirt, very low grip).
The buggy came almost ready to run. I just need to pick up some batteries. Any suggestions?

New chassis, side guards, tranny (albeit 3gear or laydown 4gear), rear shock tower/camber mount, and maybe foam battery spacers or something for battery spacing/placement. Just a guess

Seeing as they have some parts listed separately I'd assume the conversion kit will include a chassis, sideguards, braces and the ZX6 shaft driveline parts and body.
Pretty much the Reds Workshop car. A couple guys at a local track have this and it's amazing on the turf.
