Ghea has theirs, not sure of the part number but you can find it on AMain. Losi 55's are basically 4x1.3. They are just a hair different.

Drill Bit size Decimal value
1.3mm 1.3005
55 1.3208

The ghea are machined and the losi are molded. Fit and quality is much higher for the gheas. And that's what we're all here for right?

Kraig rocks, thanks!

/rant-on I get annoyed by the random people who don't care to read 5-6 pages back and just ask the same repetitive questions. /rant-off

Have fun!
All new kits should have the new brace in them. It is a stronger aluminum. Haven't had any bend since. Just make sure you don't over tighten the front bumper or it will fall off. I actually had one of the new ones fall of right before we rebuilt the track. Couldn't find it and we tilled up the track that night. After rebuilding the track and packing it we and a practice day before a big race. Half way through the day as I was watering I found it pack into one of the jumps. It was still straight and on working on the car.

I never said it wouldn't. Just saying mine hasn't. They are less likely to bend then the old ones.

Default Lightening

I am getting ready go start running a blinky class and need somw help. Was wondering if u guys can give me some ideas on what you have done to lighten your drivetrain? I already put the avid top shaft and triad slipper on but would love to hear other ideas. I would love to find some lightened outdrives if anyone knows where u can buy them

Thx in advance!

The car is plenty fast gearing right in blinky, only mod I have done is I run a slipper eliminator. If you want to get crazy you could replace all turnbuckles and screws with titanium to shave some weight off and get metal shielded or ceramic bearings and replace the grease with oil.

I actually have done all the things u suggested, just am looking to lighten the rotating mass a little more. What slipper eliminator did u use?

I used the one for the b4 by speedy racing. http://www.speedysracingparts.com/As...eliminator.htm
It will also work with the stock top shaft.

I have never used one of these b4 but it looks interesting. Do u know if it is lighter than the avid top shaft and triad slipper combo?

I drove a couple of rb6 buggies over the weekend. I currently run a 22. I thought the cars jumped and landed poorly and bump handling was nothing to write home about either. After working on the cars and doing some talking to the guys who run them. I am wondering why the cars run so little droop? The guys said most of the set up sheets are like that. I just dont remember my rb5 jumping and landing/ bottoming so easily. Without measuring I would say they were running about 1/2 as much up travel compared to a b4 or 22? Just wondering why so little droop?

my guess is that the car wasn't setup properly because my car's strength is handling the jumps and rough stuff.
