could be the massive bumps in the track on the right side. or the bell crank steering system in the yokomo

Having made just small gradual set-up adjustments over the day factory Associated driver Levänen said his Reedy powered R5 got better every run. The Finn, who was runner up at the 2008 Worlds, described the car as being decent in the last run but added he should be able to improve it further tomorrow. Having sourced sets of the same JFT tyres that Matsukura and Volker have been using he hopes this will further help him to reduce the gap.
Open tire is awesome.

Several drivers said the track was just like that. You would slide all over yet still have grip.

'10 worlds was HD. Is this the same? They're certainly using Clik-Track. Races here on that carpet are fine.

Dunno. Cars had the same loose looking action they do now. Is it open sauce? If its open sauce maybe they have one of those mixture slicks going on

At the last worlds they had a bad batch of JTG and had to make a last minute switch. I don't know the story this year, but open sauce slick would make sense. And according to Dirla there's lots of bumps.

I concur with Gee here. The mixture of sauces only causes issues. At the Snowbirds the last couple of years traction has been good but not as good as at the IIC with the handout sauce.

Looking at all the different pics Ive seen at least 3-4 different sauce bottles sitting on the tables so I assume its also any odorless stuff. Most of those cars dont look to fun to drive! LOL Not that I would know what a good 12th scale feels like anymore anyway!

I really wish super secret tires were not an option at worlds. It would be cool if they had some kind of spec tire. I bet most are running pinks...why not just spec it out.

They make such a big deal about the rubber tire rules and then the 1/12th scale rules for tires are so open.

I don't think we will ever know who is the best in the world until they put rules in place that will not allow some special compounds to determine the winner.

How dare you suggest spec tire for 1/12. Apperently 1/12 isnt broke so dont try and fix it, didnt you read the tread about specing 1/12 tires lol

click track and fasttrak HD yes Frank from CRC had both of them shipped in from the states

and open sauce but most are using speedtech stuff or CS grip but I'm not sure who makes it. so using SXT like I am is making it greasy. yes if it was all spec grip it would be good but you would still have people pre soaking their tires

Looks like the Ifmar Electric On-Road World Championship web page is down. Too much traffic is my guess.

It may be a coincidence that the 2012 IIC web page is also down ... hmmm ...
