i am looking for a analyzer :
GT Power 130A High Precision Watt Meter and Power Analyzer
Can this be used for continual use on a 12volt battery charger up to 50amp or is it just for testing?

why not? i used mine to measure the consumption between my 23 Amp 12V PSU and skyrc power strip distribution. atleast i not overloaded my PSU.
