Naw, I'm good. I don't want 'ANYTHING' coming close to that belt. But maybe for shi#$ and giggles I'll play around with it. That spot was saved for chassis weights. THANX for the props... -JB

Hey i'm considering buying a new belt car...this is probaly number 2(tied) on my list...does it live up to the name "brokomo"? I really like this car too...looks better than the 415. Cyclone is my number one and the bd is tied with the rdx for me.

You might want to think about parts avalibility as well, not many places carry corally, and it will take a while for places to get stocked with Hot Bodies parts. The new HD suspension pieces are really strong, they can take a beating and hold up to it. This is the easiest car to drive right out of the box IMO, and a very easy build, easy to work on car.

Nice to see all the "old guys" coming back home. I'm seeing lots of old names in here regularly these days. Good stuff.

This BD is just what the doctor ordered.

I recently found a LHS where the rdx is there main car...so part supplies won't be a problem ...but the bd looks sooo cool

Both cars are very well designed and can win. Things I have seen is that the BD is a masterpiece to work on...EASY is the name...I changed the front diff the center difd(changed the spur and replaced the rear diff all in about 5 minutes..No other car except maybe the new Cyclone has that kind of ease. The cyclone will be $630 street price so I would not even consider it. The RDX is very smooth and has been winning alot lately. Really it is up to you.
I am baised to the BD and will tell you it is very well made and even a noob can win using it.

What the hubs are lacking are the bearing spacers between the 2 bearings preventing the hubs from being crushed.

Vortex- that's the Futaba S9550 servo. It's not as quick as some others but it does the job very nicely. The way chassis are designed nowadays, I wouldn't use anything else. ... even rc-zombies uses 'em

lem2- I use a round pencil or something similar and once the wires are how I like 'em, I use a very small 'smear' of Shoegoo to hold the wind -JB

Quick question, how is everyone dealing with the removable battery slots? Left alone, shoegoo, CA? -JB

You're right about that, unfortunately 6mm shims arent the easiest thing to come by, so I just take extra precaution on not binding it up with the hexes.
