The axle should just flop around when you rotate the CVD. If it sticks in any position you need to dis-assembly the CVD and clean out the thread lock or find out what's making it bind.

Pulled both front axles last night and both were moving very freely I think the first reply hit the nail on the head at this stage lol

not sure if this is the exact reason or not but out of curiosity i pulled both front wheels off to see if the chatter was still there, i didn't floor it completely but did give it a bit while turning mid air aswell and there was none what so ever... could this just mean the wheels are slightly off balance?
i have RIDE re32's

Balance, wobble, or the tire not being completely glued could be the cause.
