How about thrust ball and washer? Can the original one fit associated diff screw?

Beside the part(s) do I need to drill the outdrive to accommodate the 2.5mm associated diff screw since the original screw is (was) 2mm.

I snapped the Moore speed diff screw’s button head right off during break in the diff on the bench. So, I never even had a chance to run the car
Thats all u need is the Diff screw and T-nut Also u will need to make the hole alittle bigger for the Diff screw to side in

well i think your gonna lose the convenience of being able to tighten/loosen your diffs on the fly by using a AE screw? You also might not have as "smooth" a bolt as the super smooth worlds Titanium coated one. But then again I always buy into the shiny gimmick stuff

Thanks Iceman. Hope to find AE screw and T-nut at my local hobby shop.

Kind of suck, broke the diff screw be fore the car even hit the asphalt. I have never broken a diff screw before and I have built many diff in 14 years of RC car. I have seen people snapped Yokomo diff screw before, it snapped right where the screw and thread meets due to lack of tensile strength.

I probably go for AE screw. Loosing ability to adjust the diff on the fly doesn’t bother me, diff screw snapped while breaking in on the bench before the diff had the chance to stop slipping – that’s bothered me a lot.

I wish I could use an Xray diff in my Cyclone, that is one thing I miss about Xray parts and designs. With Xray diff I set it once and by the time I had to re built Xray diff I have already forgotten when I was re building it the last time.

Ouch that sucks

BTW do you guys coat the shaft of the diff screw with black grease? Especially at the bottom where the thrust bearings are. I always do that...

Sure did. Almost had him by a full lap. The can is awesome. I just hope it handles the same or better at Speedworld. The traction at Marin was a little on the low side compared to the other tracks in Norcal but it did sprinkle Saturday right after Jesse sprayed. He did spray again Sunday morning though.

Believe me, This is Scotty B's set up, he's the fastest cyclone driver around here, and this is what he came to

I havent tried it on my car, but my car is set up just like his, and his drove real nice
