If you replace the diff screw with the heavy-duty diff screw from the Cyclone D4. If you break this as well, it could be due to some other factor.

Hi .... It's me again ........ The 2MM trust bearings and washers for my Cyclone will not fit when you use a bigger diff screw in the aluminum diff, so I would just like to know what some of you might be using.

Thank you

Are you using the aluminum outdrives? I found that when I had my car the hole the diff screw went through wasnt big enough and the diff screw was actually threading into the outdrive. I switched to ae diff screws soon after getting my car, and once I found that the screw was threading into the outdrive and fixed that, I never broke another one.

If you find yourself stuggling for traction try these:
-HPI high traction A-arms
-Remove roll bar at the end you need more traction.
-Reino's Marinade/Ragu traction compound - this stuff is great!
-Tire prep is VERY important in rubber tire racing. A good set of tire warmers can really make a difference.

Good Luck!

i've got a brushless 13.5 & Nosram ISTC motor/speedo combination, i have a low profile servo to put in to save a few more grams. I'm coming to the point where 50g is a lot of weight to have and im noticing performance differences compared to a mate thats running the same as i am but bang on the weight he's faster than iam.

not sure why i had to add a lot of weight to my cyclone to get it to the minimum weight, the cyclone is pretty light
