i have run the WCE for the last 12 months at least once a week. I have had no problems with the diff at all. I have heard people complaining about the screw snapping at the head but i've run the same screw in mine since the day i bought it, i have 3 spares because when i bought it there was talk about this and ive never used a single one. Buy the cyclone m8, you cant go wrong.

Drill a bigger hole in the outdrive, and be sure that the spring is centered. Don't tight to much and use screw-cement for the screw.

Anyone know which way of pointing the front diff carriers (ie the notch) will loosen or tighten the front belt .

Stop thinking about it and do it husky, i use a yokomo diff bolt set up and no more problem.even just the yokomo thrust bearing sorts it.excusses, excusses youve seen the POM run mod and break very few. plus youve seen the hammering i give mine and drive away.

LOSI123, have a look, one side of the notch is thin and the other is fat,
put the fat side to the fnt .to loosen belt

When I had mine, the diff screw was threading into the outdrive. So I did like the guy above said and drilled out the outdrive. No more problems. I would also try no to overtighten the diff screw.

Could somebody confirm something?
Some sites announced were released the newest WCE, but # are the same and they said with longer belts and 18T center pulley.
Is this the latest one which somebody had told before in the forum?
